What a question!

If you have just stumbled across my website, Hello and Welcome! Here is my blog where you can find out more about me, what I do, my loves and interests and maybe some tips and tricks along the way. So check back regularly to see what I am up to.

I am an enamel artist living and working from my home in Somerset, UK. I am a mum of 3 young children and have lots of family nearby in my local area.

I first dabbled with enamel almost 20 years ago at an evening course taught by Janine Partington, an extremely talented enameller working in Bristol. From that moment I fell in love with the way the powdered glass would sit on the copper and, after going into a kiln at a very high temperature, would totally change form into glowing liquid which would solidify upon cooling.

Unlike Janine I cannot resist the temptation to play with colour and now use a core range of 16 enamel colours to create hundreds of different styles and designs.

I have recently joined the UK Guild of Enamellers and hope this will enamel me to expand my practice and to collaborate and learn from other enamellers throughout the UK.
